First artwork of the year!
So, this piece features Oliver (thank you for all the name suggestions!), a young Jack Russell apprenticing to become a maintenance worker at a factory! He is a it clumsy and screws up from time to time but he is determined to try his best! The Newfoundland hound in the background is his master.
I'm not entirely sure how I came up with the idea but I wanted to challenge myself with something different, as I usually draw nature. You'll probably see more of him in the future!

Something about this piece reminds me of Oliver Twist!
Especially that hat and all the other steampunk-isk gears throughout.
I also like the detail in the smaller dog's fur, the short hair is defined so nicely! Thats something I have to practice more tbh, longer length hair is easier to detail I feel, or maybe its just patience?? Look at all those brush strokes! *o*

Holy hell this is NEAT. I keep coming back to it and just can't get enough of this piece?? I love the atmosphere and how you managed to do "interaction" between two characters that aren't even interacting exactly. When I saw this I was like "THE PLAGUE DOGS! and forever traumatized mind", but then I realized it was your own characters. However it looks great! I'm not at all troubeled by the fact how much the whole scenario and colouring scene remind me of the movie version of the plague dogs, I've always found it so touching.
This is probably your greatest work so far! It's just so well put and everything works so well together ;u; I love it
