I know, I know. MORE fanart from me. AVATAR fanart, at that! and not even COMPLETED Avatar fanart, it's a work in progress! I feel like such a follower >_> but dangit, Avatar was awesome! This is the art I started right after seeing the movie, that I couldn't put off starting until the morning, even though it was already midnight (and I suppose technically morning already... uhh) ...So, yes. Neytiri, Jake Sully. Love.
I thought I'd upload it, even though it's a work in progress, because I have several other things I absolutely MUST finish prior to indulging my Avatar "sweet tooth" (including replying to the 900-something comments I have... I will, I promise!!), but I also wanted to know what people thought, since my mother was like "It's very good, but I wish you'd do more real people" which was kind of down-putting.
Hopefully it's not something someone's already painted heaps before. I've seen a lot of paintings of the same movie scenes/stills/promotional images, all of them lovely and some quite frankly amazingjawdropping, with each artist's own variations and interpretations on it, but still... I hope this one hasn't been done (much) before...
So, thoughts, encouragement, crits, outright flattery, TITLE SUGGESTIONS, please?

Does anyone else notice that in this particular scene, when jake and neytiri are together like that, the middle of the shot between the two almost looks like a heart? ^^

Speaking of noticing things, I'm surprised actually no one noticed (or at least, no one commented) on my typo - I left of the second 's' in 'progress' lol maybe I shouldn't point these things out?

I have to say I'm with you, Jeytiri sounds much better. Neyke sounds like baby-talk for naked lol "Uh oh! Jeytiri are neyke! Cover yer eyes!" haha. It's fortunate this ship can have a pretty cool name - some ship names I've seen around are just stoopid heehee
