Just to show you guys that I am capable of poking a little fun at Man of Steel, I made this.All the other memes based on this were about the invalid criticisms that I have already discussed. I felt that this was a much better argument.
In Superman's defense, Wonder Woman's movie is just as hard as an Ant-Man movie where Hank Pym doesn't live in a retirement home.
Superman owned by DC. Avengers owned by Marvel (happy 75th birthday!)

I think they're holding out on us with the Black Widow, just like they're holding out on us for the Incredible Hulk Sequel. They want us to want those movies so bad that we will beg for them.

It's in development, but that could mean anything, and it could mean it is going to be stuck in Developmental Hell. Truth is, I don't know, and that the making us beg for it is rumor. What I do know is that Black Widow and Bruce Banner are going to part of the larger focus, since neither of them had a respective movie this past phase. Hopefully, that will change and we will see a Black Widow movie, along with a Captain Marvel movie, and a Squirrel Girl movie (a guy can dream can't he?).

I sure hope we'll get to see Widow and Banner more. Especially , I think Mark Ruffalo was great. He had a strong charisma and an interesting personality, so I''d like to see more of him.
Well, maybe Cap Marvel and SGΒ will be featured in future movies, I don't know. Kind of raises the question of how long the cinematic marvel universe will last. I mean, these actors will get to grow old at some point.

Ruffalo confirmed that there are talks of a new Hulk movie. Hopefully, the Jessica Jones tv show will encourage more stories of super heroines.

Actually, to be honest, that has totally thrown me off wanting to see the next one.Β It seems a cynical thing, like they were thinking "Oh, people didn't like Man of Steel as much as we wanted them to.Β Throw in Batman!Β People love Batman!"Β And the fact that they can't find someone to do a Wonder Woman movie - or are just too scared to try - disappoints me.Β Wonder Woman could be really interesting if done right.

DC should just stop comparing itself to marvel. Sure they're like coke and pepsi, but DC works better with TV, like Batman TAS, Justice League, Arrow, Teen Titans, Young Justice, Green Lantern TAS, and the upcoming Flash show. With movies, they should give Batman a break.

You do make a lot of sense, but I think the fact that we've gone so many years without a BvS movie (or, by extension, a Justice League movie) kinda justifies it. But yes, adding Wonder Woman does feel forced.

And DC just feels really afraid to have fun with their properties now.Β I mean, Marvel's movies are not perfect by any means, but it feels like Marvel's having a fun time and so you have a fun time as an audience.Β Plus, I love the "Fuck it, make a movie with a machine-gun wielding raccoon!" attitude.Β It's not the most outrageous thing I can imagine, but in an industry that makes movies by finding every outstanding quality and ruthlessly stamping it flat, it takes balls to do something just a little bit crazy.

I'm hoping they don't bring him in. He's already shown with The Spirit that he doesn't know much about writing a movie, and with ASBAR and Holy Terror, he's no longer able to write a well paced comic book, among other things.
