Description
In the old Starcraft manual, it’s mentioned that the Zerg assimilated a lot of alien animal species into their Swarm to give them all the kinds of specialized organisms they need on their path to galaxy conquest. Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be any pictures of the original species before they were assimilated, so I chose to make one! This is the Slothien, or “caterpillar-cow”, the peaceful herbivorous species that the Overmind assimilated into the Zerg Swarm to create the first Hydralisks (!)
I regret not drawing neck-shields on these things, but other than that I am quite content. I want the Slothien to come across as weird but harmless, and at least somewhat similar to its hydralisk descendant.
