(Y/N) stared at her target, calculating his every move. She had been promised good money in return for Lord Hinamn’s death. Not the most she had been paid, but still, it was a generous amount that she was going to get from the death of one man.

An already loading pistol was in (Y/N)’s coat pocket, her hand reaching in to grab it. She had checked her surroundings already, only a few people around. A male teen was preoccupied with sweeping the floor, someone she could rattle on once the deed was done. And there was a raven haired man, but he was walking in the other direction. This was her chance. Lord Hinamn was in front of her, impossible to miss. The only problem? His butler was following him. But (Y/N) had made sure there were extra bullets in her gun if she needed them.

Slowly (Y/N) pulled the pistol out, aiming it at Lord Hinamn, her finger on the trigger. Her finger pulled back, and the bullet was fired. The Lord fell almost immediately, his butler, panicking next to him.

Quickly (Y/N) threw the pistol into the alleyway, into a wooden crate, where it hopefully won’t be found. She quickly put on her most convincing face of horror and screamed just as the blood became visible on the sidewalk.

Hinamn’s butler looked around, to see who could have killed his master, and quickly rushed over to the shocked teen, confident that he had the murderer. The poor teen pledge his innocence as the butler held him down.

“Miss,” the butler had called to you, his eyes angry and determined, “can you go and get the nearest yard or policeman?”

(Y/N) faked shocked and nodded, acting as if she was scared, and ran off, knowing that her plan had worked. Or would have if certain -not- person hadn’t interfered.

“Oh, how sinful of you, my dear~”

(Y/N) pace slowed down once she turned the corner, where she knew she was out of sight of the butler.

“Hello Milady,”

(Y/N) quickly turned around, her (e/c) eyes meeting a pair of red ones.

“Hello…” Thoughts swam through her head, ‘Did he see me?’ ‘I should have gone farther before slowly down’ ‘What does he want?’ ‘He’s pretty good lookin-‘ ‘Nope, no more thinking’

The mysterious man pulled out something from his pocket, the pistol. “I believe that this belongs to you, Milday.” He placed the pistol in your hand, “the barrel’s still warm.”

(Y/N) stared at him, wordless.

“I’m sure that you know what this means, milady,” The man closed eye smiled at you, “I’ll give you two choices.”

You furrowed you eyebrows, what did he meant by two choices? You didn’t like the sound of it.

The man opened his eyes, and continued, “One, I could report this to the yard.”

You flinched and your eyes filled with fear.

“Or two, you could be a Phantomhive maid.”
