For those of you who don't know:
Dopey Hoof is Derpy Hooves' male counterpart. Derpy Hooves' existence is being threatened. A creator from Hasbro was threatened with about 10 e-mails about Derpy being offensive. So HUB and Hasbro changed Derpy's voice actress and cut Rainbow Dash saying her name.----

I actually cried while watching that video. A friend showed it to me.

The original voice for Derpy was endearingly lovable. The new and "improved" version is annoying and grating. It just goes to show that going PC doesn't always make something better. It may be considered more offensive to change Derpy's voice and defining characteristics. It can be seen as Hasbro whitewashing Equestria, removing all imperfections. The original version can be seen as a message that even those with disabilities can live productive, happy lives. It's disappointing that a small group of people would attempt to force their opinions on the rest of us. In being "PC" they've created an every bigger insult to the handicapped.

you guys need to look outside your window, no offence but this was resoled long ago,
just a few things you can easy find out if you look around is
1. no derpy is not going away,
2. the voice change was because the actor thought Derpy was of the opposite gender,
3, the "fixing was only making the eys less "Derpy"

4 oh and the "name" was not removed because of people finding it offensive, there was other issues like copyrights and stuff.

Where are these Bronies who complain about Derpy you speak of? I've always gotten the impression that the majority of them loved Derpy and her speaking role. There's evidence of that everywhere. The websites, the petitions, the art, all of which were up and being pumped out like an assembly line long before the edits were made. They were all advocating for the possible edits to NOT happen.
If you want more evidence that the majority loved Derpy, look at all the "typical reaction" videos you can find on YT. Look at the response letter from the writer of the episode and how she said that positive emails she received about Derpy outnumbered the negative by at least 200 to 10.
As far as I know, it was extremely annoying and vocal soccer moms that mostly complained, and the only MLP fan that I personally know of that complained about Derpy was Yamino and her walls of text are ridden with hypocrisy and double standards. But if you have any examples to the contrary, please show me.
