Description
Neil Gaiman was visiting in Finland a year ago and I took this one of picture of him and it was sadly out of focus. I dry to do something with it at a time, but I was unable to do anything smart of it. Today I was looking a CD with old pictures on it and found the orginal portrite and made this. I like the old feeling in it.Thanks Neil!

He is quite the remarkable guy. I'm still sad I didnt have a camera to bring when he was here a few years ago, or any sensible words to say either. But he is just... so awesome.
The photograph is great, even if its out of focus, i like what you've done reprocessing it afterwards, some focus on the eyes and so on. And yeah, the oldish feel really works.

I've had the pleasure of meeting Neil on a number of occasions and had the great fortune of dining with him and discussing writing. He's a greatly polite and kind guy and you captured him quite nicely here.

OMG I actually recognised an author by their photograph ^^ But he is amazingly good... my favourite in fact, a nice piece, I like the feel of it. It has that kind of old feeling that many of his dust covers have

Aw wow.. I wasn't sppreciating the picture much until I saw someone say that he did The Sandman! I read that when I was little.. Now the sortof distorted eeriness of the image makes sense to me.. what a crazy novel that was. Strange and beautiful. A bit like the picture!

Do you consider Lucifer evil? I mean, in that comic series inspired and licensed by Gaiman? I feel that he is not really evil in that comic, but a very ambigious character.

I met him last year at a book event and from what I got of him in that short meeting and in his books, this really does capture a facet of his personality! Has he seen it? How'd you get so lucky to shoot him - I'm just a tad jealous now.
