This is wicked! How do you get the horses to match so well with the background without blending in or sticking out?

you colour pick some hues from the bg and add them on a soft light or overlay layer, you can do the same by picking colours from the horses and adding them to the bg as well, if thats what you mean aha. but thank you so much!
