I recently drew LittlePip, and I couldn't miss to draw Blackjack as well!So, ehm, here she is!
Again, a very complicated background for my standards, but it worked out well, I think!
The Core's appearance is mainly inspired by Minas Morgul of the LotR universe, I won't hide that.
But hey... I think that it fits.
About Blackjack... she changed her... appearance a few times, so I had to choose which moment to choose.
Also, due to the fact that I haven't caught up with the fanfic yet, this is updated only to chapter 62.
I just read it so... yeah... I think that I'd choose this version anyway... *cough*
Please don't kill me, I tried to not spoil too much.
Not much else to say... thanks to Somber and his team of editors for this great story... I love it and you really keep me on the edge.
You also make me very angry with all the twists and I'm going to get very very angry if there's a bad ending.
Especially if it's a bad ending for Blackjack.
She deserves a good ending.

Similarly struggling to have something to say about this drawing, especially since I know even LESS about this character.
Err, uhm... Uhh... I like her mane, that's for sure. The surrounding seems appropriately barren and somber. Though that kind of begs the question why she looks so... peppy.

Because when I have to draw them I exaggerate... and then take billion of years to color them...

Same here. It takes foreeeverr for me to finish something with a background, and coloring it is such a pain sometimes.

Yeah... and when I draw interiors, they sometimes just feel too empty, so I have to fill them with stuff and suddenly I have a bazillions objects to color and (worst of all...) line.

Yeah, it's pretty hard finding the right balance between too little and too much decoration. my biggest problem is trying to find cool angles to draw. Sometimes it takes a while to get it to look right.
