Ahem. Yet again, another piece inspired by .I was looking at her blog, Rarijack Daily, and once again I got struck by inspiration.
It's a sensation that I can't describe very well, but when I see (or listen to, in case of music) something beautiful, I always feel somehow bad. I feel a pull from inside, the desire to do something about how I feel.
When it comes to drawings, I feel the need to draw myself.

It's simple, but it's strong. And with that, I felt the urge to draw myself, and the best way was to draw some Rarijack in the hope to somehow thank WhiteDiamonds for how much inspiration I get from her creations.
That said... I had a lot of fun drawing and coloring this. At a certain point I just started throwing in random colors just to see what they would do.
And heck I'm happy about how that tree turned out. Best tree I ever did.
Anyway, just noticed that I've gone past the 300 watchers... and... that's a big number for me. Thank you a lot for staying around, I'll try to post more often!

That's a very cool process you have, finding inspiration in other things and feeling so strong about that inspiration that you have no choice but to act on it.Β I sometimes get jealous when I see talented people at work, so I admire your ability to simply be motivated to be talented yourself.
This is a fantastic scene!Β I love how well this odd couple gets along.Β Seeing them bicker about their opposite trends, but then always use their unique strengths to help each other out is about 80% of what I like about this show.Β I absolutely love this scene you came up with for them; it's a great encapsulation of "country mouse, city mouse" and plays up on Rarity's diva-like tendency to take advantage of her friends' kindness without realizing it.
I love the expressions you came up with for them and the colors are very nice.Β They're sharp enough to be distinct, but loose enough to be unique.Β They also do a perfect job of painting this scene as a casual day in a small town despite having a fairly limited palette.

R: Non sense. We have plenty of time until we arrive, so I wanted to begin a conversation.
AJ: Why not about why you are so picky about putting your hooves in the mud? Fluttershy told me you enjoy mud bath in the spa.
R: That is not the same! That mud is specially formulated for helping your rejuvenate your skin.
AJ: Rejuvi- what?
R: Making it look younger.
AJ: Well, you look childish when you play in the mud, so why not trying it for a once?
R: I clearly told it is not the same mud!
AJ: Pssh! Mud is mud. And you are getting heavy.
R: What? A strong pony like you? I'm sure you could run all the way there with me on your back. Unless...
R: Unless what? You think ah couldn't? Let me prove you wrong!
Applejack began to gallop at a good speed.
R: Ah!!
AJ: What?
R: You are splashing all that.... dirt over me!
AJ: Hey! Make your mind! You want to get there faster and get yourself cleaned or slow and waiting and.... urgh! T-talking about beauty treatment?
R: Keep running. I'll manage.

Yeah, Rarijack Daily is something special.I started to follow it but I didn't really like the ship that much...but I like it more and more
This blog inspired me once or twice, even if I never drew those things
I really like Rarity's eyes.
I don't think the mud was really that big of a problem case Rarity could just have walkedΒ aroundΒ it, it doesn't look that big

Rarijack is a very weird ship, because it's not really focused on their actual romantic love, but more on their friendship.
Sometimes I get the feeling that it's not even a ship, to be honest.
Doesn't mean that I don't enjoy it immensely... as showed by the time dedicated to drawing them
