For a couple of minutes Michelle washed her hands taking in the smell, which was nice and wondering about the house? Why was it built out here far from roads? There were electric lights, it was a pleasant room temperature and the water was hot, who was paying the power and water bills? Why build a place like this with locks on the inside and leave it abandoned, but well maintained? She considered a few possibilities, some slasher filmeseque but part of her brain rejected those quickly, not out of fear but logic. If you were to set up such a facility it would require a lot of money to set up and keep ship shape. She had yet to explore much of the place and there was a fair bit to explore. At the time she thought this might be a reality TV show, but even so it would be best to get out of here as soon as possible.

Then she felt a few odd sensations, her fingers were getting a bit stiff and something was a bit odd with some of her hair which she squeezed mud out of. Her shirt was getting a bit tighter around the midsection, but most of all her hands were feeling off. Something kept that sensation from getting to the front of her mind for a little bit. Then she took her hands out from the suds. The foam clung for a while, despite her flailing her hands about, during which she felt them go limp, then it all smoothly fell off.

She beheld the changes, up to her wrists her skin had been replaced with a smooth satin, flawless save for a few seems. Her fingernails were gone, as were her fingers, fused together. In place of her old hands were two mittens. She could still feel with them, but they were stiff. She screamed as they went limp.
