...my main protagonists look like this (aka as well as I could pull off).When I'm not wasting my day with random prompts and one-shot characters, these 12 (yes, twelve - find the 2 repeats!) peeps' plot lines and lives are planned out. (Yes, they're all g/t fics. Guess who plays which role! Fun fact: only two of these stories share the same size differential.)Stories to choose from/wonder about: pics 1-3: Sideline | pic 4: Endgame | pic 5: Patients Zero | pic 6-7: The High Low Life .
If one of these sets of pics interests you enough, then I wouldn't mind directing my focus toward one in particular. Can you guess anything about these folks/stories (aside from what I may have already said about them)? Every icon means something somewhere.
I won't tag/mention the creators with my filth, but their DA profiles are captioned repeatedly in this collage (and they're linked in my page's 'About Me'), and you can play the game in which I brought these characters to life here!
I wish I could do this for every character/pair in the stories, but that would lead to >50 people- no joke. If I did every story I've ever listed on/thought about for DA, then it'd be >100.
I try to keep my character spectrum diverse not just for representation but because it's more fun. It sort of just happens naturally, like my friend circle IRL. What do you think?

The K.U. For life sign just makes me think of my college years because I went to a KU. Brings back memories. I'd be the one with cotton candy.
I've had people complain about my characters being mostly the same gender at times, but I'd feel so uncomfortable writing what I don't know, especially if I had steriotypes so I usually have people I can understand and predict (Plus SPN is majorly white male heavy to start). One person went so far as to argue about my borrowers and wouldn't listen to the explanation about them avoiding sunlight for the majority of their lives resulting in most being pale.

Aww, thank you. :3 I didn't mean for the search to be so difficult (unless you're messing with me, but that's okay, too XD), but I guess that's what happens with a set of twins in one story and a life reflection over several years in another. Oh well!
You're absolutely right about the college things. I felt that since I'm in college and have quite a lot here, I may as well put those experiences and those dramatized on TV to writing with a G/t-twist and utter nonsense since I'm a complete trash can. Though, actually, the two Tumblr-personifying, candy loving buds aren't in the college story: they're of similar age in that moment of their lives in another story. I know it's probably confusing. I like that.
Oh gosh. I mean, I won't say that I don't see where they're coming from, but it's not as though their appearances (aside from size b/c duh) have that much effect on their plot lines... so far (IDK). If their looks affected how they acted in more ways than that, however, and then everyone was basically same-face-different-name, then I might give a side-eye, but since you don't do that (because your OCs and renditions of known characters IRL have personality), you have nothing to worry about.
Plus, you more or less write fan-fiction, right, with the SPN crew as leads? If your stories - characters and concepts - were 100% original, then I could see how a 'flat' cast in one way or another could be a problem, even though I'm sure you'd work around it somehow. I mean, you encourage diversity enough with accepting your collaborators' usages of their OCs of color and varying gender, orientation, and whatever else applies here, and your Borrower paleness idea makes sense to me. Does that make sense? I'm not perfect with words.

Nah, I'm terrible with faces in real life to begin with.
Ha, I hope people like my plans for when I write my original story I hope to publish in the future. I do try and keep the OCs I have in these stories as vibrant as possible. They each have more personality than even I expected in the beginning, especially my more recent ones like Moira who hasn't even appeared in the posted stories yet.

Retail XD Trained me to not retain anything about people because of all the personal information we dealt with daily. Of course now I can't remember names to save my life and don't look at faces at all until I realize I'm doing the retail thing.
