Okay, there is something not natural about these Timberwolves ("Not natural" in Human World context). How can is it that they break apart and put themselves back together? Apparently, there's a magical force that animated these creatures, but I don't think magic occurs naturally.

Well, "Magical land" true but I don't see the reason for animated inanimate objects with vicious attitudes.

I can think of two paranoid speculation that somepony magically created the Timberwolves for some reason and they continue on living. Or the Timberwolves are wicked spirits or spiritual essence that embedded the woods pieces of the Everfree Forest.
Truth is I have no idea if my claims sound reasonable ; its something I got from mythology and fantasy-fiction RPG games.
