This did turn out great.
Yeah Liara was a little blue when you met up with her again (not to mention leaning a tad bit on the renegade side of things), but hopefully she'll be back in ME3 and be her sweet self again...somewhat...

In my opinion Bioware pretty much butchered her character in ME2. Having the single most benevolent and virtuous character in ME1 and having her threaten to flay someone alive because the dude didn't pay the bill she sent him is really just a slap in the face to the fans.
Its totally out of character and it doesn't make any sense whatsoever even after reading the Redemption comic which helps flesh out what she was doing between ME1 and ME2.

It was a real shock, and it did seem to come completely out of nowhere.
I don't really agree with what Bioware did to her character either and I was very sad that Liara didn't join Shepard's crew in ME2. I guess I still have hope she'll come to her senses and redeem herself in ME3. There should be plenty of opportunities for her to do that, what with the Reaper fleet showing up at our doorstep!
