Description Yet another portrait for the game Dark Age of Camelot

This time its a rock troll berserker that goes by the name of Death. The part about this piece that always amazes me, its that it has always proven to be the most popular of all the portraits i've done. I made it as a surprise, and rushed it out in about 4 hours, where the others i spent a large amount of time on to get just right. *shrug* go figure

Love the work around the axe. the green glow fits perfectly.

I never understand it myself... At the last Con I sold prints at the pencil sketches, much less work than anything else, sold better than the inks or colors. Sometimes the stuff we work on the least proves to be the stuff people like the best... makes no logical sense, but that's just the way it is.

*shrug*

I love that axe, the face is an excellent design. Good design on the armor as well, this is all kicking much ass.

I think it has to do with, that when you are rushed you are so involved in getting the essential elements on paper, that you capture your work at its best. Then later on down the line as you ink and color, and poke and prod the piece getting it just right it losing something. *shrug* Dunno what it is exactly, but sometimes it can toss me on my ear...lol
