This is, actually, a sketch version of my previous award-winning fav.me/d5tgkd2 . Yes, I know the difference is great, but that is only because I decided to settle on more intimidating one
Decided to finish it for practice, but then everything went shiny and background followed 
Also, yay dots! Dots make thing appear cooler than they are! mysigisshitiknow
And so, I keep submitting works in no order. It'll look like I don't make any improvement, lol.

Well...Talk about a role reversal. Awesome design with these two. I personally think it would be rather cool if Sonic donned the Mecha Sonic name again (whether willingly or not), and then let their be a battle between Metal Sonic, Shard, and Mecha Sonic. Now wouldn't that be cool?

I was thinking something similar recently and suddenly you drew it! Excellent role reversal.
Another few ideas I had was what if Shard when Super, or if Shard and Sonic fused like Shadic, looking like a super powerful Bionic Sonic, similar to the way Megaman is designed.

BTW, with the Flynn rationale of Bunnie getting organic arms and legs from completely cybernetic (not roboticized) limbs, its not quite impossible...

I love Shard's design as a Mobian, but to bad he's a robot so De-robotcization is impossible.

I doubt it, as he has a personality, and most importantly, the power core (which both Gamma and Omega don't), which can possibly interfere with de-robotization process,
