Description
celebrating their centenary, a Sentinal aircraft of 5 Sqn was joined by the Red arrows for a flyby. Note the special tail paint on this aircraft for the squadrons 100th birthday. 5 Sqn was a founding squadron in the Royal flying corp that later became the Royal Air Force. This was taken at the RAF Waddington international airshow 2013
I was fortunate enough to be on the other side of the airfield during the afternoon so was able to get really close to the action where my Nikkor AF-D 80-200mm f2.8 could do its business. On the down side The light was turning against me (again) so the later in the day, the darker they got.
