Well North America decided to go from -17 degrees c to 15 over night so I decided to make the most of it and go on a nature walk along the Missouri river.The warm up had caused the ground to defrost making it a bit soggy underfoot so I scared most things off as I trudged along my way. This male Northern Cardinal however was suitably distracted chasing another bird out of his tree to bother with me.
