Description
This was an experiment. I was only allowed to use 4 pencils: black, blue, yellow and red. It's really hard making brown, so its lighter than the reference i used. Its amazing how much i enjoy drawing wolves (this is a wolf's eye for those who didn't realize)
drawn with: pencils (blue, yellow, red and black)

The eye colour is spectacular, especially with such a limited colour allowance!
The reflection in the wolf's eye is what I like the most about this, whether it was meant to or not it shows how we've just shoved them in cages and treated them like monsters. Without even trying to understand them.

thanks so much!!! wow i'm impressed that you looked so deeply into the meaning of this picture
and speaking of treating them like monsters, i was really sad to learn that in the 1800s in most of europe people considered wolves to be really evil and so they practically killed them all off by the 20th century!!! but very recently - in 2000 - wolves began being sighted again in germany[and most likely other countries too if they hadn't already done so]. that's like, after they'd been extinct for over 150 years!!!! sorry to blab on about random facts; i'm studying that in my german class and it's gotten me all worked up about wolves

I thought so, It's similar to an idea I've wanted to do for ages .
I agree, how could people just slaughter so many innocent lives out of misunderstanding?!
Its just good to hear that they are trying to come back to their former world range. I'm always worked up about the rivalry of humans against wolves ^^'

The reflection in the pupil looks a like a horse and rider... was this done from a photo or your own mind?
Either way, another from me.
