Check out the finished pic here [link]Ok well hurray I finally did a tutorial!! I'm really sorry I didn't show you how I actually DREW the horse, it would've made the tutorial WAY too long!!! So yeah, you guys can just settle with somehow obtaining or creating your own lineart that you can colour using this tutorial.
Wow step 3 sounds like the most non-logical thing ever [the word is 'off' not 'of' as well oops

this is a great tutorial, I'm bad at shadings, I just color my horses one solid color because its so hard.

nice, but the proportions of the horse are a bit off, the head is too small and the front raised leg looks a bit arqward and generally looks like its on steriods.... the colouring makes the horse look like its made out of metal, its too shiny.

Yeah this is really OLD and I wince at the horrible colouring and bad proportions. If you look at my most recent horse pictures you'd find them a lot better shaded and proportioned.

The colour won't mix with the pencil when colouring? I tried before and it didn't work out for me

oh what's this? when you tried blending two colours together? Just make a light layer of one colour, and than an equally light layer of the other colour over the top, and then use a white pencil to blend them - try practise on another piece of paper first and see how it goes
