Damien Landers was an energetic high schooler who was on the athletic team. You couldn't keep him still as he would always be seen running around and playing football. He is cheery and full of energy and eager to run errands, using his natural speed to get the jobs done quickly. It was his natural speed and eagerness to get things done quickly that made him the rightful heir of the title, Speed of Time. Taking up the yellow D-Soul, he accepted the choice to give up his human life to become Marlinmon, Keeper of times speed.

As Marlinmon, he becomes a fish like digimon that resembles that of the striped marlin. His whole body is toned with muscles that allow him to excel greater in speed, with a long sharp spear on his head and a stream line back fin to allow him to cut through water with little drag and a powerful tail that powers him through the most turbulent of waters.

Tapping into the very flow of time, he can manipulate the energies of time speed and digivolve, using a mode known as Time Warp.
