MERLIN.IS.
AWESOME.
I am currently obsessed with this awesome show. BBC has my heart lol. There are some discrepancies with the legends, but overall it's pretty damn awesome. And the bromance between Arthur and Merlin? SLASH FAN'S DREAM.
So yeah this is a picture of Merlin, Arthur and Morgana from the show. Such a pretty cast
I kind of smushed Arthur in there in the final sketching phase, cuz I wanted it to be a Merlin-protecing-Arthur-from-the-evil-Morgana themed work. I like Merlin the best XD Oh yeah and Arthur's armour sucks because I can't draw metal battle gear. And I was too lazy to look up reference. If it ruins the picture for you, sorry T_T
It took like an hour of photoshopping for this to look nice. My scanner is shitty and doesn't seem to like anything done in coloured pencil. As it is, this was done with markers and coloured pencil. Damn scanner. I like how it turned out though.
I may add it to my list of prints to make for Naru2u, even though it's not anime. Ah well, I see Harry Potter stuff at cons all the time.. Merlin is similar XD.

so, I was just kind of browsing around when I found this and it occurred to me that- hey, if I cropped this so you can't see that it's Morgana, it could potentially be the perfect cover for a fanfiction I'm writing!

I really love Merlin, and of course, Merlin is my favorite. I really like how you had Merlin protecting Arthur, because Merlin saves Arthur, like, at least once an episode.

In a word... EPIC.
The stances in this (particularly Merlin's) are AWESOME and Merlin's face looks darkly determined. Love the use of his jacket to create the overall 'EPICNESS' of the piece, and combined with Arthur's cape and Morgana's hair, this art is truly EPIC. Love it. XD

Yeah, I know. Every week I'm practically screaming at the screen "USE MAGIC IN FRONT OF SOMEONE!" But then again, I don't think it should be revealed slowly from person to person. I think Merlin will eventually use magic in front of everyone all at once - probably in some epic stance (see above ^^) and saving Camelot from destruction. Then Arthur would be like 
But anyway, the art is immense, and I'm sure the series will live up to expectations if we just cross our fingers and hope for some flashy gold eyes to be noticed.

Oh man, that is exactly how his secret should be revealed. If Merlin doesn't reveal himself in some epic battle, like in the last episode of Season 4, it will be SO disappointing.

I know, it would be awful if it happened subtly and for a stupid reason. But I doubt the BBC will let Arthur 'trip over a miss-placed boot' and then have Merlin's magic revealed when he saves him from landing on his butt. It would be very disappointing (funny, but disappointing nonetheless). It should definitely happen in some sort of epic battle, where he has no other choice and has to create some dramatic explosion or something to save Camelot. It seems only right after all the times it could have been revealed but wasn't. And I agree that it should happen soon! Come on Merlin!
