Description
this is what happens when you take a ordinary piece of inking, strain it through a cheap camera, and post it. fisheye effect ahoy! there go the proportions...anyway, stock ref from the great Kxhara: [link]
Dear Kxhara, i cannot apologize enough for going abstract and ornamental on the hair, but since i don't often get the time to pencil and ink something big, i try to experiment as much as possible.
inked with copic multiliner pens

Fantastic! The hair gives it originality and character, which emphasize her expression! Well done!

I'm jealous! You have really caught you're subject, and I'm loving the hair. If you don't like the grey of the background, try using the Image> Adjust > Levels in Adobe Photoshop.

yeah... i did...
i spend about half an hour in Photoshop, then retook the pic and spend another ten minutes. but there's only so much you can do with a cheap camera and no stand.
i pushed the greys back via the output slide. but if i push it too far, the blacks also grey out.
i'm going to have to try to find a way to stabilize both the camera and the drawings. all this in a high light environment (i have no pro photo equipment or lights, so probably outside)... if anyone has any solutions for the low-of-budget i would greatly appreciate it

I gave up photographing my art! I just waited until I had a scanner again
