Absolutely stunning...
What's the process for these sort of drawings? Pencil first then erase after inking? or do you lightbox the sketch to ink?

unfortunately i don't own lightbox (to expencive to buy and too lazy to build one).
so i usually directly sketch with a dulled h pencil softly to get the proportions about right, then tighten with either mechanical pencil or a sharp pencil
(also h or hb, nothing darker, cause the glossy pen paper doesn't have much tooth and the graphite just smears everywhere).
one thing i've learned is that most mistakes i make are in the penciling stage, so i try to have as finished a drawing as possible, and try not to ''shade'', try to crosshatch, define with lines etc. just as you would with a pen. also if there's alot of black in your drawing, think about maybe just drawing an outline.
finally, keep in mind that i'm a beginner and what i'm saying might be complete nonsense
lastly, i've recently bought a smudgeguard2 glove, it works rather well, the cheapest i've found it in europe was from wacom.
and final finally, study pro artists, for example andy brase ( [link] )

Incredible! The shadows are well thought out and drawn! I love how all the shading follows one direction, which makes the drawing look very smooth and professional! I love it!
