my first proper landscape, the river isn't terrible but the mountains are..oh well. we live, learn, try ,fail, persevere, still fail, try again, depression, build up our confidence, try again, success!!
at the moment i'm at stage 4

is not bad at all! In fact the river looks great. The mountains could be better, but are nice too.

thanks, i consider myself a depressive optimist, i may suck now, but one day I'll be effing great!
also i need to make more texture brushes for landscape painting, lot's of texture to imply details.

I use ยดs brushes, and I find some of them quite useful for rocks and other natural textures. He has them avalaible for download in his gallery.
