Decided to explore a bit of Everfree's character

1. Pony Form

Due to her large size, being just a smudge bigger than Discord himself, Everfree finds it difficult to go in and out of Ponyville's stores and shops while running errands. Thus, using Chaos magic like her father, she is able to take on the appearance of a pony. Everyone is pretty much aware who she is, as even as a pony she often drifts lazily through the town, but are nonetheless thankful to have a normal sized monster for once. Her form is purely for politeness and convenience, and she doesn't use it for anything other than that.

2. Parents

I really want to explore how Fluttershy and Discord became an item. Suprisingly, they were eachother's last choices as partners for a while. Discord, while as chaotic and reckless as the magic he wields, does have a bit of foresight in knowing that eventually, ponies die, and he didn't want to get overly attached beyond friendship because of that. He secretly dated Celestia for a while, had a brief fling with Tirek, even went on a few dates with Twilight for some time. Fluttershy, however, was content working at the cottage and tending to the wild life, though had a brief courtship with Big Mac that didn't go anywhere. For a time, both of them drifted apart, before eventually coming together again for tea and lunch.

What was supposed to just be lunch became a several hour long affair, with the two of them talking about their experiences with lovers, their work, the things they had seen...It eventually came out from Discord that he missed her, and wanted to be with her, much to his own surprise. Fluttershy agreed, and their relationship just sort of clicked from there. It took some time for him to settle down in her cottage, and even longer for them to get married, but they eventually settled down to have a child, Everfree.

3. Everfree was a mute for a long time, refusing to speak other than some soft hums and purrs. Her inability to speak made the rest of Ponyville wary of her, but deep down, Everfree was just a quiet, curious child, who liked flowers and butterflies and eating dirt.

When she was first born, Everfree's coat was a lighter color than that of her adult form, and was covered with cubspots. Her cubspots remain even as an adult, as do Discord's, but her coat color faded into her adult colors. The plates on her snout were soft and velvety up until her adulthood, where they hardened into actual plates of skin.
