This is looking pretty good.
Be careful to avoid blowout when processing your elements. The Girl did not have blowout in the source file. The blowout is bad enough that it would keep this image from being carried on Rights-Managed stock sites (site posts your images for people to pay you for using your image).

The concept here is really good. The only thing that throws me is the lighting of the girl..is diffrent than the background... maybe play with your curves and use lighting in PS to smooth it out..not sure.. I am no expert.
This is very impressive though.. sorry to be long winded.

That's very clever, in a dark sort of way. I could see my sister doing that. The house is flooded and there are insects all over her, but she is still completely wrapped up in her book.
