Holy crap. I had to stop doodling on this, because I was afraid I was going to mess it up.This is my OC Amira, engaging some hostiles with the Kriss Super V. It originally started as my male OC, but I decided to go with her (yes, it's a her), because I realized just how boring his outfit is. Anyway, I think it turned out pretty sweet, with the exception of her sidearm. Eh.
Also, if anyone has any suggestions for drawing scrapes, bruises and muzzle flashes, I'm all ears.

Good work, but her left hand looks a little odd for some reason. It might just be me, though. And I don't think it's hard to tell that she's a woman.

Thanks! I think. I like to think that covering one's body is generally a good idea when there's grit, bullets, and shrapnel bouncing about.

Haha, thanks! I'm glad she gets your boobproval. I think they're due for a shrinking, because her current sweater puppets don't really suggest the intended body type. Lady lumps are tricky territory, and I honestly appreciate the feedback. I doubt that I'll ever fully grasp the human hooters. Rereading that sentence, no pun intended.

No, no. I only say that because it appeared that you didn't think you had nailed down the details. I personally think there's a lot of things done well here that are more important then where the fore grip is or how far down the rail the sites were places

the position of the left hand on the grip is a bit low, and the thumb too high
based on your drawing of the Kriss Super V, becsue it has no flash suppressors, the muzzle flash should be slightly bigger.

I think you're right about the hand. I think it conceivably could be held that way, but it does look goofy. I think I'm going to move the fingers up, but keep the thumb in the same place. That might also make the hand a little less manly, too. Thanks for pointing it out.
As for the muzzle flash, I really don't like it at all. It occurred to me that I've never drawn a cool looking muzzle flash by hand, and I couldn't really find a reference I liked. Do you know where I could find any good examples?

Nah, real life ones are lame. Hollywood style is where it's at. Still, it's easy to do in Photoshop, hard to do in pencil.

Welcome. And most muzzle flashes look like that, even if there isnt a bird cage type muzzle on it. It has to do with the discharge of gas. But hope the pic helps you get the style of a muzzle flash.
