I physically seat and wait, while my mind wanders through the oceans I carefully imagine and draw, all gathered in the uniquely exquisite taste of salt, along with the moistened thick air of the voyage I never made...It is such a small and fragile boat, but my mind still wanders... I feel so tired and numb, but my mind still wishes...
My sore throat tries to scream in vain, to tell the winds to count me in, and warn my body about the upcoming challenge, in defiance of the absence of hope...
It is such a small and fragile world, but my mind still wanders... I feel so tired and numb, but my soul still wishes...
I'm waiting for the call....

Uma bela foto em tons que adoro. (Sabes como eu sou com o preto e branco ou "assépiados" ou que raio seja! Sim sim, queixa-te á vontade da calibração do meu monitor! A mim ainda me parece mais bonita!) O céu ficou mágnifico e só desejo um dia conseguir tirar fotos assim (e dar-lhes o seu ar mágico) como tu fazes... Mas é o significado que pões por detrás de cada imagem que me prende como um peixe numa rede que tem os buracos tão grandes que lhe permite escolher ficar preso ou nadar em liberdade. Perante imagens e textos destes... deixo-me prender.

Uma mudança na tua galeria e valeu bem a pena esperar. Como sempre apresentas um céu magnifíco, poderoso, estonteante. És um bom fotógrafo e já deves saber isso, mas nunca será demais repetir que as tuas fotos são de cortar a respiração. Consegues efectivamente captar a essência do que te rodeia e transformá-la de maneira a que todos nós possamos disfrutar dela.
A solidão de uma espera pelo momento em que finalmente poderemos fazer tudo aquilo que sempre ansiamos, encoraja-nos a continuar. Podem tirar-nos tudo, mas nunca o anelo de possuir o infinito dos nossos sonhos.

Your works are fantastic! I stumbled upon "Waiting for the Call..." and fell in love with this photograph. It almost seems as if the boat, like the title, is waiting to go to war. Probably the only crituqe I have is tone down the sun a bit. In the smaller visual you feel a struggle between the boat and the sky; I would like to see the sun toned down, but still holding contrast that makes it a good photo. Good job on your first black and white; please, keep it up!
