Description I was cleaning out my desk at work last week and discovered several notebooks that tucked away and forgot about. SO! That means more cool cyborg sketches for you to enjoy. I know I did. ^^

Let's see, we start off with a few sketches of Jet, Albert, and Joe being badass. In the one, Jet is wearing the standard uniform of the Black Ghost soldiers. His hair doesn't work with the helmet. XD
a simple little silohette drawing of Jet, I should do something more grand with this.
Love the poses of Chang and GB in this, I wonder what they're looking at? XD

MOAR BASEBALL CYBORGS!!! Gilmore too! The text with this is a note for a possible fanfic, I think it is Gilmore talking/thinking. It basically says (because it's written in very broken English) That the 00-team destroyed Black Ghost specially designed baseball cyborgs last week. So they got together some old cyborgs and programmed them with baseball to play in this baseball tournament to hopefully start World War 3. Though they still have one of their baseball cyborgs, Babe Ruth, unfortunately, he keeps drinking. XD

thank you. Yes, I basically draw some very raw shapes, but sometimes not even that, and go from there and refine my lines as I draw. At the very least, I always target the head with a circle and crosshairs.

i should do that but i dont really.. you cant tell from my horribly unupdated gallery but i draw in a very similar manner now. only a little more detailed much more like kasuhiko shimamotos work for the skullman?
do you draw any other of ishinomori's characters?

hey we all to to build and grow our structure in different ways. oh yes, the Skullman rework by Shimamoto is really slick!

I don't really yet. I will do some more with 009-1 and possibly kikaider. Depends what's interesting me at the time. I rewatched the Kikaider animation (from 2000) this summer, it was great.

i love all of shimamoto's work hes so hot-blooded and goddamn awesome!!

i still have to watch that. only got internet back a while ago... let me know if you'll draw any rider. i sorta have a scary obsession with the original kamen rider.

I know! I've enjoyed all his works I've seen since getting into cyborgs, later this fall I will start watching some Kamen Rider. So you'll have to keep an eye on me don't worry, I understand scary-level obsessions, I'm right there with you!

I did some dabbling with my own years ago, which have thankfully been erased from the internet XD All I use the internet for my art is just play and fanart. Any future creative pursuits for myself will involve my goal to become a children's book illustrator. We'll see. ^^

well ishinomori is like my idol its just i identify alot with shimamoto too, id love my artwork to look like that

i found the original rider manga somewhere but it wasnt translated. i actually am going to do a short rider project soon.. i dont really update so i have like no manga up here... you probably already guessed what my goal is.. thats why i dont really have much time to do fan art so i kinda give homage to mori though the stories... very very toku-ish

oh yes, they are both admirable! Ishinomori's linework is just so attractive, and I love that you have taken some of that into your style.

oh that's cool! We all decide to apply our time in different ways. Yeah, my account isn't that impressive, since I choose to only post fanart, but, it makes me smile. And it still allows me to find artists who have an interest in this, and learn more about their motivations. I'm more intrigued by artists than fanart (though, I do look at a lot of fanart)

yeah i want to upload more fanart and gain more of a network.. which is why im going to try a variety of things so i can meet as many different kinds of artisits as i can.. plus when manga goes up itll hopefully have a bigger audience...

You do not know how much I adore your grasp on the traditional C009 style, I mean this is FABULOUS!

I think my absolute favorites are the one with Al and Jet fighting back to back, the one with Jet with his jacket open (love the above angle view, and it's sexy to boot!) and the one were Albert has EPIC shadows! I like the 2x3 ones as well, they're cute. Poor Jet, I kinda support him and Kathy....

I just love your sketch dumps, they're so cool! I'd love to see you expand on 002's silhouette, I think it would make such a lovely piece.

I know, I love the action and power in that quick drawing. Whenever I want to do an action full-color piece, that will be my inspiration. That jacket one, I enjoy looking at it too, I was lucky and got all the proportions right <3

Yay *is 002x003 fan* I'm not the only one who likes this coupling! XD I'm into 009x003 too but Joe has attracted so many girls (Artemis, Princess Ixquic, Cynthia, Helen, Alice, etc).
