Hi there,
sorry for the looooong break, finally WB was so kind to give me permission to publish my artworks from Batman: Arkham Origins online.
This concept painting was an early exploration on what kind of mood we'd like to achieve on the roof top levels and was used as a ref for
Lighting and Level artists to demonstrate the snow distribution, color palette, light direction, etc.
Make sure to view the fullview, as I posted it in HD so its' suitable for desktop backgrounds.

Say, love the concept. Nice attention to detail. Was wondering how much 3d modelling played a part in this piece? I sometimes wonder about using 3d for such a scene but get concerned about how long it would take. What are your thoughts on this? Thanks

The level of detail...This is so amazing! I love it that there are almost no straight lines. Gives more dynamics to the whole painting itself and proves that your hand PROBABLY did hurt a little bit after finishing this project.
