the motion blur ends a great sense of weight to the picture, that they have buoyancy and travel... I like it -crash

I really think it need a a lot more detail and clean shapes- that is more disciplined curves and such.
Composition-wise there is a tiny bit too much room at the bottom I'd say.
I agree about the motion blur, you should've dropped that...
Hope you're not offended by my criticism but I thought you could have done MUCH better with this concept compared to the usual work you come up with...

ooh nice! love organic mech/vehicle design. The caustic light filtering from the surface into the water would've been a nice touch, then again if they are cruing waaaay below the surface there woud be the kind of softer, diffused light you've got here.
