Hi there!Finally finished this one ... o_O
I tried to tell a visual story, therefore I don't want to say much about that
Painted from scratch in Photoshop CS
The original res is 4k.

I didn't notice that little town in there, looks quite nice yet desolate and secluded. That sky looks very nicely done, and the gradual fadeout to the distance is a nice touch. Interesting piece, great work as always.

Hm, very nice. So what's the story? Is it some civilisation trying to advance too quickly and nature wont let them? Perhaps a great battle was fought on the ice plains? Lol, I like this guessing game.

Awe inspiring work as always. However, I'm a bit bugged one thing. The image seems very strangely grainy. The sky in particular. I wonder...why is it so noisy?

I do not know if it has been said, but you say there is a story, is the that the people ont he boat got stuck in the ice there, got of the boat, and settled in a near by location, forming their own village?

Very nice work! great sketches aswell! It would be great if you could make a dev. in wich you show the steps wich leads to a final product, so we can all beter understand the technique u use. Anyway nice work as always!!

There are no words to describe how awesome this picture is. The detail of the painting is so amazing. I find it hard to believe this was done in photoshop. I cant even imagine the skill needed with a tablet (asumes you have a tablet-or by any chance a cintiq?) I have a hard enough time with line art on a tablet. The colors the way they blend and flow together looks so realistic. You did a terrific job.
