Hi there!Yet another "against-the-light" matte painting.
I want to show off a post apocalyptic destroyed cityscape, maybe after a war.
It's done with Photoshop CS and After Effects.
I kept the buildings in several layers and added fog in between.
Finally I rendered a camera pullback in After Effects with a previous version of the matte.
Please use "save target as ...", since I haven't optimised the clips for streaming:

I love how there is lights on in some of the windows at the bottom there. Gives us hope that someone has survived and are not planning to leave.

I know where you are comming from, sometimes I kick my watchers alive and they throw a lot of fav's at me at once. I don't reply to every comment myself, but I imagine that your art is much more widely appreciated than mine, it seems like everything you submit is a piece of amazing artwork.
BTW; I've got one of your prints, a large print of your fjord, and now I hate you a bit for submitting this one, they would look so good together on my wall! (when I finish redecorating my bedroom that is, haven't started there yet, the livingroom had dibs on paint)

Wow... This in incredible. I can't get over your attention to detail and the lighting effects. This has such a beautiful, ethereal feel to it, with just a few windows lit up and the sun rising in the background... A

well....you never seem to amaze me! I'm not going to just put 'nice' or 'wow' like some other people, I'm going to try and give you some decent feedback to try and imrove your image....right..lets have a look....
well, the only thing i could suggest is maybe having the sillouette buildings not right in the back, but mid-shot a bit more textured, maybe having a dim light on like in some of the nearer objects, but i dont know if that owuld be realistic or add to the piece...
damn, im struggling. this is amazing work! i wish i had your talent!
