Description
After the spooky sight of the rotten obstacle, Paul and Streuner kept Walking through the forest. Paul was dissapointed with himself. He didn't know what was going on and he hadn't found Evelyn or anybody else from the other contestants. It was like the forest had swallowed them and was playing a sort of cruel game, sending them in circles over and over again.

A feeling on his foot returned Paul's attention. It was Streuner, who had turned his head and poked his nose against Paul's leg.
"Yeah. I know it's not my fault.", Paul sighed, "I guess we're both tired. Might be a good idea to take a little rest.", he suggested.
Streuner gave an agreeing snort and so Paul got off the foxer's back, took off his saddle and bridle, collected some twigs and made them a little fire nearby an ancient looking, huge tree.

Streuner laid down behind the fire, Paul turning to sit with him, leaning against his stallion with a big sigh.
"We gotta get outta here, Streunermann.", he said.
The foxer looked at him through his glowing red eyes, then brought his nose to Paul's face, who smiled at the gesture, running a hand over the large animal's head.
"Yeah, together we can do it.", he said, then reaching inside his sweater's pockets, drawing out the two apples he had brought, Holding out one for Streuner and eating the other himself.

Afterwards Paul leaned back again. The whole thing apparently having exhausted him more than he thought, for his lids soon became heavy and before he knew it, he had fallen asleep.
Streuner just gave a peaceful breath, currling his huge, soft tail around himself and his rider, before also lowering his head and closing his eyes.
