The former rescue mare, Seven had developed into a nice mount at IVS and even though she was still a rather shy and timid thing, Hugh still decided to take her to a not-too-large event, so he could show that also rescue horses could become really nice rides.

Seven herself was very nervous. All the new things and horses felt really overwhelming to her, so she was really glad that all the self-confident stallions were there, too.
Sherlock had told her, that all the stupid humans were jelouse, because they couldn't move as nicely as a horse and so she should be glad to have them look. Loriot said that there was nothing better than the applause of the many humans, who were amazed by how awesome a horse and human could work together. Tempo and Rowdy told her, that you never saw the humans watching anyway.
It didn't really help Seven what they said, but it was good to have them here.

And it was even better to have Hugh here. He had done so much for her, he had been so kind, so patient. He had tried to speak her language, when she hadn't yet understood the language of humans, he had always given her the time she needed and so Seven felt, that she owed him to try. With him she felt safe and even though it was hard, she knew that with Hugh she could do it.
