Would somebody've told Fatma a couple years ago, that she would be riding a big, buff warhorse at the olympics, she probably would've laughed that person straight in the face. First, because she never would've thought to end up starting at the olympics and secondly, because all her life she had been riding high-strung, hot-blooded arabian horses.
Yet, here she was, at RPS in hungary, ready to start at the olympic cross country class and with her the big, buff warhorse she had learned to love so much.
At first she had been a little timid about riding Tempo, the nordanner was a mount of muscles and she honestly never before had sat on a horse with that brought shoulders. She also had heard not only good things about nordanners, yet Jack and Charlie both had ensured her that Tempo was quite an angel. Well, he also was an extraordinary good father to his foals and so Fatma had given him a chance and never been sorry for it.
Granted, now that his sons had grown up, she sometimes had the feeling he was seeing her as a sort of replacement foal, always ready to nuzzle her gently and be all cuddly over her, whenever she stood beside him.

"Now county, big boy.", Fatma smiled, while she waited at the start for her turn, petting the stallions thick neck.
Tempo was known to not exactly be the brightest tool in the shed, which was fairly handy sometimes, he obviously also had no idea what was the difference between here and training at home and once he had had his warming-up time was utterly relaxed about the situation, which Fatma sure welcomes, as she couldn't help being rather nervous.
A moment later they were asked to the starting line, the bell rang and while faintly Fatma could hear her name being called out by the speakers, Tempo launched himself forward like the big hunk he was, flying Fatma over the obstacles like he always did and suddenly, it also was just as much fun as training for her, too.
