A few days later Midget went to see Quick on his single-paddock. He didn't have to wait long to have the palomino stallion storming at him angrily.
"What do you want, cripple?", Quick boomed.
"Why, a good day to you, too. I've come to talk to you, actually.", Midget returned, seeming unimpressed.
"Talk to me? How dare you! You are a worthless little freak of nature! Your dam should've killed you when you were just born!", Quick showed himself of his most friendly side.
"Ah, I do believe she would've, would she've stayed long enough to actually care.", Midget returned nonchalantly, which obviously vexed Quickstep a lot.

"Are you mocking me? Show respect, you worm!", Quick sneered, stomping with his hoof threateningly, Midget just chuckled, which seemed to anger the stallion even more.
"Are you laughing at me!", he thundered.
"Oh, yes, I am, you provide an endless amount of amusement.", Midget returned.

Quick took a jump forward, Midget quickly stepping back,
"Hold it!", he said, "First listen to what I have to say!"
Quick seemed pleased to see the nightmare backing off and so bobbed his head,
"Why should I?", he said arrogantly.
"Because it's your last chance. At EH the horses might've endured your terror, but here . . . let's say the rulers of these lands do not approve of your behavior and are hardly willing to tolerate it any longer.", Midget said.
Now it was Quick's turn to laugh,
"And what they wanna do about it? Send you?"
"Yes.", Midget just smiled.
Quick launched himself forward, making Midget stumble over his stubby legs and fall over, rolling in the grass, while Quick sneered,
"Oh, I will show those worthless scum who's going to rule here and you are going to be the first one I'll be sh . . .", Quick did not manage to finish neither his sentence nor the attack he was about to make.

Before the palomino mustang knew what had happened, the frisian was there like a huge, black panther!
He hit Quickstep into the ribs with a forceful headbutt, sending the other stallion yelping for air, when it was pressed out of his lungs.
Like a snake Mordred then snapped for the tender skin under the others front-legs, sharp pain shooting through Quick, making him tumble backwards. He was starting to see stars from the pain, the lack of air and the black stallion's sheer force and speed. He didn't even know what really had happened so far! Where had he come from? Why couldn't he even defend himself against this black monster? Was he one of the nightmare's tricks? No, the pain and the warm blood running over his fur was too real for that.

"Me . . . and Mordred, actually.", Midget meanwhile said with another smile, struggling to get back to his feet, while he watched Mordred making Quick loose his footing with a powerful shove, the palomino soon laying on the ground flailing like a bug, screaming like a foal, when the frisian came over him.
