This photo deserved to win!!! I loved it from the minute I saw it! You know why? It engages the viewer. We "feel" the emotion of the photo. That's a rare quality that a photographer can accomplish and you've done it. I especially love how you caught the very tip end of the dog's little tongue as you know he's going for that kiss!

This is really well done. The textures are beautiful, the shot is beautiful, and there's a striking contrast of her youthfulness and the dog's age. Absolutely breathtaking. Excellent piece!
