Description
A 6 shot panorama of the Sangre de Cristo Range in Colorado, photographed in infrared from atop one of the huge sand dunes in the Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve, also Colorado. The dunes are so much taller than they initially look, people on the bottom were tiny ants and the slopes were steep!See more of my infrared work here [link]

If Martians are about to respond with their own Curiosity, they will be rewarded with a spectacular view... It's pretty amazing, to be exact.

Looks desolate and out of this world, but fortunately there are footprints to bring us back to Earth. Hey, but aren't there footprints on the Moon?
Great pano.
Cheers

Awesome shot. Too bad about the "hot spot" on the left, but otherwise truly splendid!!! I've always loved dunes.

I like waves in the sand they draw your eyes to the right of photo about to go off then you catch the mountain of sand that draws you back in. The colors are great, another master piece great work.

I really like the way you get the feeling that you are seeing the curvature of the earth - or maybe an alien planet.....
Planet Ingo!

So lifeless looking...somewhat lonely, yet spacious and free. Your infrareds are always pretty nifty.
