I did this for a local contest in Norway, where the price is two premier tickets to The Hobbit, and the task was easy enough; draw something from the book.So, i just really started to draw, and thats how this guy came up, and i really havent been happier with a traditional drawing! Its insane how perfect this became compared to my vision.
He does look a little young, i apologise for that, but i really like him, so dont mind battering me about how he's NOT Bilbo or whatever. He can be whoever for my sake, just give me some feedback on the actual art!^^ Thank you!

Wow, this looks great! I love all the little details that really add to the picture! How did you draw his hair so realistically? I've never been able to get it right myself...

I really love to learn more about details so i tried to do as much as possible!
I personally think that hair is something that most artist really strugle with, because it is so dependent on light source and shadows, seeing as each hair reflect. I find it very helpful to draw the shadow in the hair, not so much draw each strain, and you should use reference!
