Description I found a beautiful stock photo from *night-fate-stock of a bird and decided to practice vectoring with something other than people.

I tried to find the stock photo again on her site and it seems to have been deleted.

Kept trying for over an hour to figure out a background I liked, and I couldn't. Hence the lack of background.

very nice composition. Nice colors. The top part of the bird looks a little flat. Maybe needs some more shading to create dimension but I'm just being super picky. Very well done!

That's one of the things I like about vector is you can rework it forever. It's also bad cuz it keeps me up late at night working on stuff!

I think it's actually better that you left the background out.

It would have removed the focus from the bird.

I'm glad you said that! I was thinking that the more backgrounds I tried. Sometimes it's nice to just focus on the subject. But maybe that's because I hate making backgrounds...
