Description

First time drawing in a few weeks, on a new computer, with a new tablet.. my style has been turned upside down.
Trying out for a new warriors group I'm interested in, please look at my softy, wouldn't-hurt-a-fly, teddy bear Stagstep.

:: Character ::
Name: Stagkit | Stagpaw | Stagstep
Stag - Because of his lanky legs as a kit, he resembled a fawn trying to walk, after he learned balance he strode elegantly like a large buck through the forest.
Step - Much like the larger, four-legged animals, Stagstep walks quietly despite his tall size. His mother also says that 'step' resembles the journey to the fjords where       he was by her side, pushing her along and never giving up on her.
Clan: ThunderClan

Appearance details: A tall, lanky tom usually seen with a calm expression. Brown dappled pelt with lighter eye, chest, and toe markings. No scars or disabilities.

History
  Being born to ThunderClan just five moons before the famine was a slice of paradise. The clans were still going strong while he grew up in the lake territory along side his sister with their parents. He was always suspiciously quiet at a kit, only asking questions pertaining to clan life and the needs-to-know on being an apprentice then warrior. This was contrasted by his talkative sister, his sibling he loved dearly. It was noted that perhaps the reason he didn't talk was to listen to her point out the obvious, make jokes, or challenge other kits. Reaching five moons old, the rivers stopped flowing abruptly, panic starting to rise up in the clans. Stagkit and his sister Willowkit were titled Stagpaw and Willowpaw a month later, becoming apprentices despite the impending doom no one yet knew about. About that time SkyClan fell ill, and the lake dried up. Stagpaw stayed by his sister's side through rough training, clinging to the close Clan community he had grown to depend on. Disease then ravaged through all the clans and took all too many close ones, including Stagkit's sister and father. Feeling the deep loss of his best friend and sibling, Stagpaw remained by his mother's side as the clans packed up and started the journey. One day as the clans all huddled together as one large herd, Stagpaw's mother Sagewind started loosing energy rapidly, slugging behind the rest of the clan cats. Worried he would loose his last family member, Stagpaw stayed back with her through the rest of the journey, sometimes having to drag her gently along. It was only a few sunrises and sunsets before the clans would find their new home when Sagewind took her son aside, whimpering to him that she could no longer go on, that she was destined to die with his sister and father. Stagpaw refused quietly, continuing to push his mother along until just a sunrise later the would-be leaders declared their new home on the fjords.

  Stagpaw gratefully accepted his warrior name, Stagstep, and made sure his mother was comfortable in the elder's den in ThunderClan's new camp. Presently, he still stops by every day to check on her, though never talks about it.

AboutPersonality:

|Stoic|: The way he walks and talks is elegant, holding a proud and gracious feeling where ever he goes. He tends to hide emotions better than most, but not on purpose as he is just quiet and inexpressive.
|Clever|: Though he usually keeps it to himself, this cat is a good problem-solver and can help in most dire clan needs. He has a very Problem-Theories-Solution based thinking where he weighs options quickly then is set on the best on in his eyes.
|Protective|: Overbearing, but is protective of every cat in his clan, even if he isn't fond of them personally. This means he will throw his life on the line to protect any and all ThunderClan members. And can often be seen dragging kits back into camp when they get a little too adventurous!

|Calm|: It's hard to rouse him, whether a fight or if you're looking for some sort of emotional response. No one has really been able to quite shock him yet (Pro Tip: he is easily flustered).
|Quiet|: Since a young age, he's always been a tom of few words. He will give fully detailed reports to his deputy but lacks the luster of pleasantries with fellow clan mates.
|Family-Oriented|: Family comes first, and his whole Clan is his family. Plus, he is looking forward to raising kits! He hopes to be a good dad for however many litters of kits he has (He'd like a big family).

|Loyal-To-A-Fault|: No matter what he thinks is right, he will follow the word of his deputy or leader. This can be extremely detrimental to any corrupt or frowned upon tasks, but hey, he'll do it.
|Blunt|: When you do finally get a response from him, it's usually straight from his thoughts. His comments can appear overbearing or rude sometimes, although it is not his intention. He wishes to be better at conversations but hasn't quite got the grasp of it.
|Soft|: Even if he will follow ever order given to him and protect his clan above all else, this warrior is softer on his enemies, valuing every life. He's never killed another cat. Nor would he like to, especially in battles. Kits are something he believes are off limits, even against the word of a leader.

"Alright, we'll get right to it!" She turned on her heel back to face Archiie, her upbeat attitude not deterred by working. She gestured with a nod of her head to the vegetables, then stepped over and grabbed a knife. She paused for a minute, hoping deeply that she wouldn't mess up. This was her first job and she had no idea what the superior chefs would expect of them. Very slowly and carefully, Melisa cut into the carrot in front of her on the cutting board. It had already been a minute or two and she was still only on her third slice. Perfection takes time, although usually she didn't pay attention to detail, her heart was beating incredibly fast for some reason and the feeling of perfecting everything she did was embedded into her thoughts.
