The Gods came down from the clouds. Their first presence on earth was detected as early as the Cambrian age, but the most noticeable occurrences took place in ancient Egypt, where they influenced culture, society, and architecture.

Humans called them "The Blight". They had been aware of The Blight for decades. they first noticed the temporal anomalies that they left throughout history about 87 years ago, around 2130. The humans made some bad decisions. They were scared, something so alien hidden so close to home. Invading their societies. They didn't know what The Blight wanted. They waged war, and that was the final nail in their coffin. This next excerpt was taken from a document found on Earth.

"We have made progress. We have isolated an individual that we have named AGGA and restricted their temporal travel, something which did not seem to distress AGGA. In quarantine we have interviewed AGGA, an easy task as he speaks many languages. This is what we found out.

The following are selected parts of a transcribed interview with AGGA and a researcher, labelled as "R".

R: Where do your kind come from?

AGGA: The human race, with all its accomplishments and strengths, with how far its come, is nothing compared to our society. Our species has descended from what you call baboons. Many millions of years after your species dies out- which will be soon- the first intelligence that re-evolves on earth is that of the closely related baboons. While humans never made it far in terms of scientific achievements, our species accomplished any feat with relative ease. We come from here, our world is yours and your world is ours. We are displaced in time yet harmonious in space.

R: May you elaborate on these "scientific achievements"?

AGGA: Many things, many things beyond your comprehension. We have mastered and tamed time as your kind have the wolves. In a similar pattern to your relation with wolves degrading from functionality and usefulness to aestheticism and personal fulfillment, so has our relation to time. Time is a living being, not a concept. All these elements- time, space, concept, color and emotions- exist as living and pulsating beings on a plane we do not fully understand.

R: Explain to me, to the best of your ability, this "plane" you speak of.

AGGA: This plane is beyond any comprehension of thought. It can not be explained any clearer.

R: Then explain the relation your species has with this plane.

AGGA: Our society is on the brink of collapse. Constantly. It rests like a boulder at the top of a mountain, ever balanced. A simple whisper is all it would take for the boulder- our society, our reality and planet- to contort into nothing. We use this plane to keep us stable. This plane is fully alive, it is simply our reality put through a different lens. This means that by travelling within it- and preforming what can only be compared to surgery, or farming- we can fundamentally change this reality as we know it.

R: So then how does this relate to your kind interfering with our past?

AGGA: We call this living plane "The One With Two Mouths". This is because we may enter "The Body" of this plane in two ways. One is through travelling through time. We travel through time, and depending on our displacement, we enter a certain area of this plane. This is "The Body" and is where we preform our surgery, where we alter certain aspects of our reality and the impossible overlaps with the possible- we create monuments, technologies, beings and artworks, all that are impossible in any other way. This keeps the balance of our society. There are side effects though. While we enter "Mouth A" of our time, we travel through "The Body" of the plane and are spat out through "Mouth B", which leads to your time. We may enter an age of moss, stone or gold, but its all relatively the same. The only way we can enter back through "Mouth B" to "Mouth A" is to preform certain surreal tasks, almost like achievements. This is how we open the doorway to "Mouth B", and the task is innately known as soon was we are displaced. This is how all your religions have been created, why every single monument was built and why conspiracies reign the subconscious of humans.

R: Are you explaining to me that this plane has an agenda?

AGGA: We do not know. We do not and can not understand "The One With Two Mouths", we simply exploit it. We are each given a task by it and must carry it out to return home. It is an unforgiving cycle.

R: Then what is your task?

AGGA: It was to be subdued. To disperse this information into your consciousness and to be interviewed. It was to finally give closure to the cold war that our kind and your kind have with each other. I am special, I tie all loose ends and become the epitome of our story. My task is to speak these words, at this exact time. My task is for the last word spoken in all of humanity to be the word of "The One With Two Mouths"."
