Made with DeviantArt muroThe Stylt (Giraffapelargus kormus-"Tree-trunk Giraffestork") is a stork-like bird from 50 million years in the future. This enormous bird, which can grow up to 40 feet tall, has a good reason for its size. It is one of many birds that disguise their legs as tree trunks. The Stylt snaps up any small creatures hopping through the canopy all the while imitating a tree. Its wings have stiffened just for camouflage, and it stays still and waits for prey to come to it. You can find Stylt all over forests in north america.
Thanks to for helping out with the scientific names. So far most of the pictures iv'e posted since i came back from vacation are the ones i made on vacation, but soon ill be adding some art that has been made more recently! The Guoll live more up north in large lakes and ponds close to what was once Canada. The Stylt live in north american forests.

I think it would be quite useful to you draw a map of the planet that far in the future, to help out with this sort of stuff.

again, I told you why. Actually the only reason I havent started those drawing on spec evo of my novel happens to be because I cant figure out how to make and post a map of the three extra planets, its sorta important.

no thanks, the problem is not the planet itself, I already have the plan of the entire maps of all three "New Neptune", "Zenaron" and the third planet I am yet to name, I have the entire map, minerals, continents memorized, the actual issue I am having is how to make it, I cant just draw it on paper and post it, I wonder if there is a specific site for creating maps, in other words the actual problem I am having is the method for amking the map.

Well it doesn't have to be humanoid, i think if there was something to drive the Stylt toward Canada (because Guolls are aquatic and it'll be much harder bringing them to the Stylt, so lets bring the Stylt to the Guolls.), it would probably be competition. It could, hypothetically, drive the Stylts up north where the Guoll live.

Well its actually an idea submitted by
And i don't know how they could survive, maybe some artificial cause (human interaction, ie. cryogenically freezing) or they descended from smaller, less monkey-like animals (mice? lemurs?)
or maybe they just survived in an isolated community (island?) that eventually connected to a larger continent millions of years later.
