The cuteness here is beyond measuring, I think the cuteness scales just exploded...
Great shot, love her pose and the angle here! <3

It was amazing to literally be inches away from them! Through the glass of course, but they were very curious about me as well.

Yeah, that's an advantage of the glass - you come so close to the animals without any danger! During the visit in a zoo I stood besides a huge tiger with just the glass between us. It was gorgeous!
Oh yeah, hyenas are very curious - even as adults. I've seen it last year during the volunteering.

I'm not the only Hyena excited about the cubs? xD And looks like they changed the enclosure a bit?

I'm honestly not sure if they did, this was my first time in Colorado and to the zoo. The lady said where the cubs were was where they've been keeping them until they get bigger.

Awesome!
You don't see too many hyena cubs in the states.
Hopefully they won't be too grown up when I'm over there in December

There had been 2 spotted hyenas at Living Treasures in PA in 2010, but I think shortly after I visited, they were removed... Such a damn shame, because hyenas are amazing animals! I think they would be spotty by that time, but still growing.

I think Denver zoo may have also had their own cubs but that was a looong time ago.
And it awesome to meet other people who think hyenas are awesome

I think they had a cub back in 2009, but that cub went to another zoo. Hyenas are my fave animals!

Aww. I think I started visiting in 2012 during the winter and spring vacations. It's one of my favorite zoos that's for sure!

Such lovely photos you've taken of these guys. I particually like the lighting and pose in this one.
You're so lucky to get to see hyenas!
All the zoos closest to me don't even have 'em. :'v

Thank you! It was kinda tricky with the lighting because of the sun and they were behind glass. I was trying to get good shots without glare.
I actually had to fly out to visit my cousin to see them. We leave for home tomorrow, but I'm so glad we were able to see them! If you're ever in Colorado, make sure to visit the Denver Zoo!

The slight refection on the glass has somewhat of a cool effect.
Ah, I see. Colorado is actually one state that I want to visit someday, so I'll keep that in mind. xD
