It is translated and added rules of models editing, which were made by myself.
Special thanks to and Their information helps me very much.
I also want to thank VK’s group “MikuMikuDance”.
Please, don’t break rules, because if you do it, you don’t respect authors of models.

do you know how to make PMD editor stop saying model init failed? IV been working on a model fore along time but I haven't been able to open ANY file in it for a week now, I really want to finish MY character model soon, all I know is after I got a simple ball model it wold open ANY thing

hm.. it is so, that you can't edit Windows100% model. you can find a lot of cool models BRS (not windows) and edit them

Thank you for using the Pegu picture but there are some mistakes in the list.
M2 Luka is not a default model and one needs permission to edit her.
Tomatoleon does not allow editing of Idolm@ster Miku.
Also some known modelers like Qoo, kanikani, 16bit, Yuki(yyeiji), Megiaki-P, Mao, Moto, Mio-nee, Daitaibu, ceta, kask, Sosou and many others are on on this list.

I think I'm going to ask the leaders of MMD tutor and MMD-Academy to add them there instead.
Especially since there are some modelers with special conditions and that every model of the modeler should be displayed.
note1: Bambina (I'm not sure if that is the correct name because I took the name by the site 'a stray star') also needs permission to edit models.
note2: In Sayaka Projects picture I'm very sure that that Dead Master is Megumi777's wonderful edit.

Rules...? Since when are there RULES to MMD? Rules are only made when a mindset gains popularity. MMD is a free, recreational activity. Those Windows 100% models are nuisances if you have to actually PAY for them. I don't reject your making the informational file and I don't mean ill intent, but there's no such thing as an "illegal" model unless it's Windows 100%. THUS, no one should care that much about nonsense freeware.

if you think so.... but if you make model yuoself.. you make it in 3DMax or Metasequoia, then you add bones and physik.

As an author who writes myself, I understand that people don't like their work reproduced or altered but something as silly as a freeware program, I'd think all you can do is acknowledge that you're the creator and be prepared for the worst. Even those who make the 100% models. It's just like any other art, there will always be parodies, bashings, and illegal distribution. Sure they can make their silly rules, but to force it enough that it puts a whole community into a craze is just too much. There will be some who respect the rules, and those who do not. I'd rather respect those rules laid down, but I'm more than aware that there are people who don't care, and in that case, you don't feed the fire by trolling them. Just leave them be and remember that the reason you made the model and joined the MMD Community is just for fun.

It's not silly at all. When someone creates something, obviously, they don't want it used a certain way. Some model makers don't want lolicon, or they don't want their stuff edited, or maybe they don't want violence or pornography. It's the same as artists here on deviantart. Artists don't want their stuff to be edited or claimed as someone else's.
And obviously Deviantart is a free site to show art, no? Yet why is it that Deviantart administrators remove edited pictures and copies that are posted against the artist's permission?
The model makers have copyright over their own work since they are the ones who made them. Violating the rules are violating their copyrights. You can look up the fair use copyright license on Nanami's site. It's the same thing for artists. Deviantart recognizes that artists have copyright over their own work. Honestly, when you think on it, it's really not silly. What's wrong with trying to protect your hard work?
And pretty much you got the word "trolling" wrong. Being a troll is acting in ways to provoke the other user to react in ways to bring up lulz.

Yes, of course artists don't want their work claimed. No one really does but things DO happen. Isn't it we take copyright enforced visual media and contort it to our will as "fanart"? Or even "fanfictions"? Even if we put a disclaimer, it's still copyright. Even if it's not being profitted from, it's STILL copyright.
And Deviantart admins take down photo's that have been edited and copied because they run a buisness. They make profit from the people who use the full-paid Deviantart. MMD isn't like that. MMD isn't something you pay or in any way but Windows 100% if at all.
So, model makers have no enforced copyright over their work. They're not making a profit, so the rules they lay is only an attempt to prevent as much editing and redistribution as possible. That just doesn't stop every single person so it's best not to get your panties in a wad over it. And really, what's DEVIANTART going to do over a model that's downloaded onto your computer? The worst they can do is take down the pictures and ban you. They can't hack your system or some stupid crap like that.
You're really going to critisize my wording while you're at it??? Then I'll correct myself. How about supercilious? Or whatever. The point I'm trying to make is concerning MMD copyright. Not my lack of internet slang skills.
