Very interesting piece. I like the color scheme, the sepia tones with black and white. I like this piece better than the Mechanisms one, although both are intriguing works.

I definitely prefer the other of the two, because the large feathers on this one are quite distracting, but this is still a beautiful piece of art.

I liked this version, but I prefer the other one, it was really close though and is definatly a tough decision to decide which one is better, nice work on both.

Once again, well done photomanipulation. I like the concept of the other one better, but I think the execution of this one is better. The colors and shapes are all very simple and work well together.
One thing, I like the little white parts on the feathers. I think it adds something, but I think there isn't enough of it to make it feel right. If there was some way to add more white to the piece, or even just some lighter areas, I think it would help tie it all together.

I did try adding more white, but I was stumped as to how so I tried to add it with brushes. Those just looked too invasive so I added the white border to help highlight and draw more attnetion to the white of the feathers. Your right that it is still a little lacking in the white though.

The feathers could perhaps need more gray-scale otherwise it's great stuff!

I like the mechanisms of the mind quite a bit more, there's more variety there (with the strong diagonal provided by the pencils) plue it makes a stronger connection with me as an artis

i think i like this one better than the other one, i like the lines and the placement of the birds and feathers, the only suggestion i have is that perhaps you darken the tips of the feathers because the white is distracting, otherwise it's good!

This is really an evocative, rich piece of art. I especially enjoy the hard pen-and-ink style and the parchment texture. The only suggestion I might make is that you create a more minimalistic frame - the shot itself is so powerful, I could really see a simply black line around it and very little else. Really excellent, wonderful job!
