I tried a few new things in this pendant. I decided that I would use silver wire with the botswana agate stone, giving a very monotone feel to the piece. To counteract the absence of colors, I added some beads to the frame of the pendant. You can't really tell from the photo, but I also tried a back-to-front bail - the small wrap around the neck comes from the end of the bail wires. The pendant is a little busier than I usually like, but I've already gotten one commission from it, so I won't complain

pretty stone, lots of interest despite the lack of color. I share your concerns about the possible distraction from the embellishments, but like you, some of the pieces I questioned the most sold the fastest. The rest of the wrap is fabulous!
