Description
the main and tail.it's not a seceret, honestly. i want to help you all get better. so - this is how i do my mane and tail, since you guys where asking so much when i posted eloise. so i thought i could you guys out.
it's simple,
no trick at all.
sometimes i even look at other horse photos to try to get the feel of movement. but i haven't been able to incorperate bay colours and suck - and i normally only do this trick when it's a black. since the shadows and stuff aren't nearly as important.
but that's it.
thanks for reading!

Wow, this is an excellent tutorial. I'm just starting out and am having trouble with manes and tails so this is the thing I need. You make it seem so easy and it is. Thanks so much for putting this up.

Awesome!! I know you may think I'm dumb for asking this, but how to you get the tail to shrink off at the ends? My brushes always just go flat., so it doesn't look real.

For some reason, it doesn't merge properly on photoshop 5.5 which is what I have. It stays sharpened. I don't know, 'll probably have to play around with it. But I love the tutty.

This is almost the same way I do it. It's possible to make shadows and highlights with it if you think ahead of time to plan it out, and use layers, and a different colour on each layer. After that, a little dodging and burning touches it up.
Thank you!
